Detailed Conference Schedule

Keynote presentations were from Naison Mutizwa-Mangiza / UN Habitat and Phil Hill / Natural Resources Canada on the subject "The Role of Planning in Resilience to Climate Change."

Conference sessions feature planners from around the world who highlight why their respective town, city or planning system will be resilient to climate change.

The program seeks to showcase case studies and presentations that provide key insights into how professional planners are thinking about – and practicing – planning around the globe in response to climate change.

Presentations focus on such questions as:
* What is it about your community or system that makes its approach to mitigating or adapting to climate change particularly effective?
* Why is it effective?
* What ‘lessons learned’ can other planners take from your experience that will guide them in addressing this crucial issue in their own communities?

Your ticket will provide you with access to eight all conference session recordings and the slide presentations from all presenters.

You will also be a member of the WTPD Conference Community, providing you with access to individuals who attended the conference, conference presenters and other post-conference attendees.
